I'll never forget, I was studying a masters of computer music composition at Johns Hopkins University in the United States when I felt something was off. Out of desperation, I decided it was time to go talk with someone. This support changed everything for me. I was able to complete my degree, travel overseas to find myself for a while, and eventually landed a job as an Outdoor Experiential Educator working for organizations like the YMCA and Outward Bound Canada. These days, as a fully-certified counsellor and hiking guide, I am proud to offer a similar service to those willing to take their next step in moving towards the life they are meant to live.
With a Master's degree in Social Work and a vast experience in the field, I have honed my skills in supporting individuals facing various mental health and relational concerns. As a registered social worker and counsellor, I adhere to the highest ethical standards and am held accountable by the British Columbia College of Social Work, ensuring that you receive the highest quality of care.
I believe in the power of nature to heal and restore and that's why I practice alternative therapy approaches like counselling walks. In addition to indoor therapy, I offer outdoor counselling options, allowing you to choose an environment that resonates with your personal journey.
